Notice of Motion presented by Councillor Michel Levert and seconded by Mayor Guy Desjardins to request UCPR a pedestrian crossing on Gendron Road in front of St-Mathieu Elementary School
 

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves that a request be submitted to the Infrastructure Committee of the United Counties of Prescott Russell in order to obtain their approval for a pedestrian crossing with signs in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. H.8 at 3155 Gendron Street in Hammond; and

BE IT ALSO RESOLVED THAT the Department of Infrastructure and Planning be mandated to execute the work and that the funds associated to these expenses be provided from operating budget.

Notice of motion presented by Councillor Carl Grimard and seconded by Councillor Mario Zanth regarding the installation of Christmas decorations
 

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council hereby mandates the Administration to put up the Christmas decorations earlier this year in order to boost the community’s moral; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT should extraordinary expenses be required in order to accomplish this task, that the Administration be requested to bring a report forward to Council for consideration.
