Notice of motion presented by Mayor Guy Desjardins and seconded by Councillor Christian Simard to amend the Deputy Mayor By-Law
 

WHEREAS By-law 2018-157 stipulates that Councillor Christian Simard is appointed to act in place of the Mayor from December 1st 2020 to May 31st 2021; and

WHEREAS Councillor Christian Simard stated that he is not in a position to assume this role;

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council hereby adopts By-law no. 2020-xx, being a by-law to amend By-law 2018-157 in order to appoint Councillor André J. Lalonde as Deputy Mayor from December 1st 2020 to February 28th 2021 and appointing Councillor Michel Levert as Deputy Mayor from March 1st 2021 to May 31st 2021 instead of Councillor Christian Simard.
